‘Tuvalu Paradise News’ is a private newspaper owned by KMT News Corporation. KMT Corporation is a fully registered company under the sole-trader category of companies.
The company is owned by Rev Dr. Kitiona Tausi who has retired being an Ordained Minister of the Ekalesia Kelisiano Tuvalu, the main Christian denomination that has a membership of over 90% of the country’s total population.
Tuvalu Paradise News has only one employee who serves many positions as Managing Director, Editor and Reporter and that is the Rev Dr. Kitiona Tausi.
Rev. Tausi has had training in journalism and gained a certificate in 'Development Journalism' from the Asia and the Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (ABIDB) and the South Pacific Radio Bureau. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration offered by the University of the South Pacific. By profession he was a radio news reporter and broadcaster during the early days of Tuvalu as a sovereign state.
Rev. Dr Tausi graduated from the Kanana Fou Theological Seminary with a Diploma of Distinction in Theological Studies, a Maste of Theology Degree majoring in the Ethics if Communication from the University of Edinburg, UK and a Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the ASEAN Theological Research Institute.
